  • Dukungan IDRF untuk Gempa Kabupaten Cianjur, Jawa Barat

    Selasa, 21 November 2022 pukul 13.21 WIB, gempa bumi dengan kekuatan 5,6 SR dan kedalaman 10 KM terjadi daerah Kabupaten Cianjur. Gempa ini mengakibatkan 109.386 orang pengungsi ke 325 titik pengungsian yang tersebar di 15 kecamatan, 328 orang meninggal, 12 orang hilang, 2.046 orang luka-luka. Sedangkan Kerusakan infrastruktur:17.864 rumah rusak, 14 unit fasilitas Kesehatan, 190 Tempat Ibadah, 17 Kantor & Gedung dan terdapat 524 Satuan Pendidikan terdampak (2.235 ruang).

    Melalui dukungan dana darurat IDRF, Yayasan Penabulu bekerjasama dengan mitra lokal, Yayasan Cahaya Abdi Bangsa melakukan asesmen paskabencana. Salah satu rekomendasi yang disepakati adalah melalukan proses rekonstruksi yang multisektor, yang berkaitan dengan fisik maupun non-fisik, seperti penguatan kesadaran kebencanaan warga Desa dan pengembangan ekonomi. Proses ini melibatkan para stakeholder kunci di Desa dan mendorong partisipasi dalam pelaksanaan proyek dengan melibatkan kelompok pemuda, perempuan, serta aparatur pemerintahan desa. IDRF mendukung proyek rekonstruksi paskabencana ini dengan dana senilai Rp.150.000.000.

  • EEAF

    Employee Emergency Assistance Fund (EEAF) is an open-ended fund mechanism which should be set up by the partners who wish to access IDRF. The EEAF mechanism should be equipped with the structure, operating procedures, and committee which is set through the Management Decree, in order to comply with U.S. charitable regulation. Penabulu will be closely assisting partners who wish to access IDRF in setting up the EEAF.

    As an open-ended fund, EEAF should be announced to all employees and opened all year round, even if the funding is currently not available, in order to easily support the emergencies situation when funding becomes available. EEAF addressed to the eligible needy employees who are experiencing temporary financial distress or hardship affected by the emergency conditions in the form of direct relief fund.

    EEAF Committee is an independent internal committee that functions as the main mechanism in accepting employee applications, conducting assessment and verification, determining priorities needy applicant based on current available funding and approved of which employee applications are eligible for financial support.

  • Profile IDRF

    Indonesia Disaster Relief Fund (IDRF) is an open-ended pooled fund that will be in-country distributed to locally-based Indonesian partners to provide limited financial support to eligible needy employees of partners who are experiencing temporary financial distress or hardship due to certain emergency conditions.

    IDRF grant funds sourced from U.S.-based foundations, managed in specific structure designed to ensure compliance the U.S. charitable regulation under IRS Code, and accessible for partners that meet all the eligibility criteria which will be outlined in the program description of each round.

    Limited financial support will be provided to the situations that is short-term or temporary in nature, not long-term situations where the employee has known about and been managing for a long-time.

    Temporary financial distress or hardship means that the employee was able to manage finances before but is now unable to do so because of certain events that happened that were outside the employee’s control. Distress or hardship may be caused by a defined, time-limited, specific event such as natural disaster, non-natural disaster, or any other event which is determined by the Government of Indonesia to be of a catastrophic nature.

    Currently, IDRF manages a number of emergency funds for COVID-19 Relief Fund (C19RF) which can be accessed to provide assistance for employees who bear COVID-19 related expenses that have occurred after 1 June 2021 to 31 March 2022.

    We invite your organization to access and participate in the COVID-19 relief effort and distribute this emergency fund to support eligible needy employees who are the most affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, even though this assistance seems to have come a bit late.

    Yayasan Penabulu dengan dukungan beberapa organisasi filantropi AS membentuk Indonesia Disaster Relief Fund (IDRF), sebuah dana gabungan terbuka yang akan didistribusikan kepada mitra lokal berbasis di Indonesia dengan tujuan untuk memberikan dukungan pendanaan terbatas kepada karyawan dari mitra lokal yang mengalami kesulitan keuangan secara temporer atau kesulitan keadaan karena kondisi darurat tertentu. Saat ini, IDRF mengelola sejumlah dana darurat untuk COVID-19 Relief Fund (C19RF) yang dapat diakses untuk memberikan bantuan kepada karyawan yang menanggung biaya tak terduga dalam bantuan COVID-19 yang dialaminya pada kurun waktu 1 Juni 2021 hingga 31 Maret 2022.

    Employee Emergency Assistance Fund (EEAF) adalah mekanisme penyaluran dana terbuka yang harus disiapkan oleh mitra yang ingin mengakses IDRF. Mekanisme EEAF harus dilengkapi dengan struktur, prosedur operasi serta komite, yang ditetapkan melalui Keputusan Manajemen dalam memenuhi regulasi peraturan amal AS. Penabulu akan mendampingi mitra dengan erat dalam membangun EEAF.
